Victim’s injuries considered non-life-threatening, sources say

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Las Vegas Metro police are investigating a shooting near Charleston Boulevard and Torrey Pines Drive.

Sources tell the 8 News Now I-Team that the victim told police the suspect pointed a gun at his or her head in an attempted robbery.

Bonanza High School was on a soft lockdown as officers searched for a suspect.

The victim was expected to survive, police said.
