CCSD police to honor late officer's life after found unresponsive at Las Vegas area school

CCSD police officer to be laid to rest, procession begins at 9 a.m.

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Family and friends of Clark County School District Police Officer Andrew Craft will gather Thursday morning to say goodbye. Craft died on the job last week after suffering a medical at Mojave High School.

The service begins at 10 a.m. at Central Church in Henderson. Craft’s body will be escorted by a police procession that could cause some traffic delays starting at 9 a.m.

The procession will begin at Palm Mortuary at Jones and Oakey boulevards, travel along U.S. 95 southbound to I-15, and will proceed along I-15 southbound from Washington Avenue to Sahara Avenue, and then south along Las Vegas Boulevard to I-215 eastbound and then to U.S. 95 and exit on Russell Road.

Officer Craft is survived by his father, brother, and a 16-year-old son.
