LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A fire Friday afternoon in a neighborhood near Downtown Summerlin caused about $250,000 in damage, but no one was hurt, according to the Clark County Fire Department.
Firefighters responded just before 2:30 p.m. to reports of a garage fire, and found heavy flames coming from the garage when they arrived in the 2100 block of Lone Desert St.
The fire brought a big response as six engines, a ladder truck and two rescue units were sent to the scene. A total of 37 personnel responded, and the house was searched for possible victims within 10 minutes of the call.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
