LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Las Vegas is cooking up some fancy food!
The 48th Winter Fancy Food Show returned to the Las Vegas Convention Center with a look at some of the latest and greatest products. This is the third year Las Vegas is hosting the prestigious food event.
Throughout the 3-day event, thousands of food makers and industry professionals from around the world showcased and sampled their specialty food and beverage products.
The event featured a wide variety of items including vegan, gluten-free, plant-based, and sustainable options. Buyers then had an opportunity to find their next bestsellers.
“The fancy food show has been here for decades, and I think they’re really still defining what people want to eat… they really get their roots here and that’s the importance of having this show,” YouTube Chef Jerry Stone said. “Everything that you see in the grocery stores, things that you’re buying, the delicious things that you’re eating, they start here.”
Products at the Winter Fancy Food Show eventually go from display tables to store shelves before ending up in homes.
The event was scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 21 through Tuesday, Jan. 23. It is open to qualified members of specialty food trade, industry affiliates, and media.
